The deep blue expedition gives you the chance to explore the depths of the deep blue waters of the Indian Ocean and catch a glimpse of the glorious blue whales, ever friendly dolphins and of course the famous island sea turtles. The always smiling, mischievous dolphins will put on a show while some of the oldest and the largest sea creatures, the humpback, Omura’s whale, Bryde’s whale, Sperm whale and blue whales, will nonchalantly glide past you, when you embark on a whale and dolphin watching excursion off the entire coastline of Sri Lanka. You will also get the chance to visit some of the most important attractions of the tropical island throughout the expedition.

NIGHT TRAILS

Loris / frog / owl / fishing cat watching

Take a night trail through the dark yet glimmering paths of the dense forest cover to observe the endangered loris, frogs and owls who bring the excitement and liveliness of the night. If you are lucky you might even sight the spotted deer and fishing cat who come out with gleaming eyes to catch their meal for the day. The night tours are perfect for both frog enthusiasts and novice explorers. While the focus will be on night trails, the tour will also give you a touch of Sri Lanka’s culture and heritage.
